About me

 Hi. My name is Weijian Zhang. I came from China. Now I am an international student who studies in the United States. I am studying at the Linn-Benton Community College. My major is Business Administration. I am studying the principles of marketing this summertime because I want to study more business knowledge. 

Why I am interested in marketing?

It is because my parents have their own business. I want to study more information to help family business and help my future work. 

I like to do some stock trade when I have free time outside of college. Because I want to make money and I like to watch the stock data changing. When the data has changed, I often get excited and my heart beats faster.  I like to share some experiences with my friends and watch some professional videos about the stock trade and anylisis.

     Honey Snow Ice City is a Chinese chain brand that specializes in creating fresh ice cream and tea drinks for young people. It has an advertisement: "Let everyone around the world enjoy high quality and affordable deliciousness".      The most recent it was a theme song that made its brand hot. It is the official promotional music video released by Honey Snow Ice City in July 2020. The three snowmen in the music video represent the Honey Snow Ice City brand, store staff, and customers.      Why this song is popular? Because the development of self-publishing software is now very mature, this song I saw on the Chinese TikTok a vlog of music.  This vlog was showing that you could get a cup of milk tea by singing the theme song in the store that had events. Patagonia is an American retail company, specializing in the sale and distribution of silent sports gear and outdoor attires. The company’s value proposition makes it a unique and interesting brand. Unlike most retail brands that focus on inexpensive material, rapid production, and low-cost manufacturing, Patagonia prides itself in sourcing high-quality material ethically. As noted in its mission statement- We are in business to save our home planet -the brand’s primary goal is to promote environmental sustainability. Hence, Patagonia uses social media as an activism platform rather than for product marketing purposes.
